I use on top of my Foundation and concealer and it's sets my makeup wonderfully. Sometimes promo natural finish I skip my foundation and I just use this press powder on top of my concealer and I am good to go. It is a boon for oily skin as it controls the shine and oil on my face for a good 5-6 hours, after which it needs touch up. The 12 hours staying claim by Mac is a bit exaggerated. It is waterproof.
